As you may know it, Gun control is a topic that has been scattered around lately due to the shootings. What many governments have been doing is banning weapons that have been involved with these shootings. Many are not supporting this idea due to more crime.
I claim that banning weapons will not help our shooting problem, But make it worse. Yes Banning weapons will make them harder to get but you cannot ban everything. If a criminal wants to get an assault rifle, he will get one, Yes he .is breaking the law, but that's what criminals do. Also the banning of weapons that are involved in shootings won't work. For example, If a person shoots up a school with a .22 Pistol, They will ban .22 Pistols and people will find different weapons until we ban everything and breaks the 2nd amendment and we will go into civil war.
What I think we should do is stop banning weapons and allow more concealed weapon permits. Texas did this and everyone thought it would be like the wild west again but it drastically reduced crime. This reduces crime in a way like this, A criminal is not going to rob a place if they know that there is a chance that the store clerk has a firearm. And this goes for everything else as well. Shooters kill easily because they know the Victim efend themselves. At the moment most Bank Guards are not able to hold firearms. If we can get shooters to know there is a risk of self defense. it will be more hard for them to plan an attack
